Just came across a new link( at least for me) that has a wealth of WW II information. It is not specific to the 106th, but is very interesting in terms of WW II in general and I suspect there is information that is Division specific. Check it out at www.ww2db.com. Also, I have noticed the traffic on this message board has slowed down considerably. I also know that some groups have message boards and are found on Face Book as well. Is this something that would benefit or be of interest to our members? I am brand new to FB so have no idea what it would take to set it up.....but, I imagine there are some of the members out there (Carl??) that are very proficient in this form of social media and are already om FB. Is it something that we should consider? Roger

Hi Roger,
I think that this is mainly because this board is very specifically focussed on the 106th. There are many discussion boards and forums out there on the world wide web, but they tend to have a very wide focus. Using FaceBook and maybe setting up a page there with a link to the board could be useful, since we know that quite a few 106th veterans are active there too.
That may not be a bad idea.
Greetings Carl

I have seen a few names but have no idea how many. How would that be determined?
