He was in the 424th, L Company, as a squad leader. Think he met my uncle during the Battle of the Bulge, based upon papers written by my uncle. Any info, please let me know. Thanks.

His name is on the roster on Jim West's Indiana Military site. www.indianamilitary.org/106ID/Rosters/RosterZOHO.htmThe only additional info was a rank listing of PFC. Under the source for roster info is listed a 63. Checking the source list I found that this was a "Christmas Menu" for 424 L supplied by Carl. I'll add him to the Site Soldier Index. And we can cross fingers and hope. You may have added a small piece of his history in your question. Connie |
