Anthony Marino's name and regiment assignment are listed in the Roster on the Indiana Military Site A YouTube video clip of a little over 7 minutes includes an interview with a Tony Marino of the 106th Infantry Division, no unit listed. I'll assume that this this is the same Anthony Marino until corrected... www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjRLgowhAm8Video Clip includes i nterview, some WWII footage, and footage from a 1992 return visit to Belgium with family Info gleaned from video:Marino, like many in the 106th, had been part of the ASTP (Army Special Training Program) prior to the dissolution of that program and his assignment to the 106th during maneuvers. He was 24 years old when, on his 5th day on the front, he became a German POW.
