Anthony Marino's name and regiment assignment are listed in the Roster on the Indiana Military Site

Marino, like many in the 106th, had been part of the ASTP (Army Special Training Program) prior to the dissolution of that program and his assignment to the 106th during maneuvers.
He was 24 years old when, on his 5th day on the front, he became a German POW.
