On this Veterans' Day, I would like to thank all my heroes.....dad (Sgt. William Myers - WW II), my uncle (Cpl. Kenneth Dressback - WW II), my brother-in-law (Sgt. Jerry Parker - Viet Nam) and the veterans of the 106th who are a part of this discussion board....and all who have given and sacrificed for our great country.

Thanks for starting this topic Roger.
Today I'm thinking of all the Veterans I know and those I do not. Gratefull for their honor, courage and sacrifices for our freedom. They are all true heroes. A special thank you to all 106th veterans that are members of this board.
Today is also a personal remembrance to my great-grandfather (Sgt Frans Wouters, WWI and WWII) and great-uncle Francois (WWII).

Thank you Roger for your kind words.
WWII veterans, in the vigor of manhood, saw their country in peril and took their places at the front to defend the best flag, the best government ever given man.
During the Battle of The Bulge, American Soldiers, for a brief moment in history, held the fate of mankind their hands. They preserved for this country, and the world, an ongoing breath of freedom.
Today, our country needs the prayers and intestinal fortitude of every concerned citizen, while there is still time to keep our freedom alive and well.
Floyd!
