The listing shows he is listed on the Tablet of the Missing at Henri Chapelle Cemetery in Belgium
His date of death is listed here as December 18, 1944 and in the newspaper article (link below) as December 17, 1944

The historical society link also links to two 1960 newspaper articles on discovery and recovery of his body from a mass grave in Winterspelt (holding 11 bodies). The grave was discovered when they were digging holes for telephone poles in Winterspelt. The remains of this 19 year old soldier, missing for 16 years, made their way home..
