Last sunday we went to the ceremony in St Vith. It was a impressing and genuine B.O.B day. Cold and white. Nice to see Carl Wouters in real life. To bad i couldn't talk to you as long as i actually wanted. But promise next chance i'll get to stay a little longer.
Glad to see that Floyd Ragsdale got honored too.
Well done and next year again.

Thank you so much for sharing these photos. It looks like an amazing day.
I had a question. Scrolling 4 photos up from the bottom there is a vintage vehicle with wheels in front and tracks behind. Do you know what this vehicle was called and what its function was?

That would be a US M3 halftrack. Google that phrase would give you far more info than i could give you here.

Thanks!
That helps a great deal. I had heard the term "half track" before but had not visualized it and did not know its use. This helps. And the name makes sense when you see the picture!

Yes. Its copied of the German halftrack. Seeing one in real life makes you aware of the low profile even more than the pictures. Being lower than most suv's just to avoid being spotted. And if spotted harder to shoot.

Terrific photos from St. Vith. Thank you for posting them. This is much better realism than I've ever seen here in the States. Got any more?
