Receiving e-mail notification

THE DIRECTIONS ORIGINALLY GIVEN BY CARL WERE PRIOR TO A BOARD UPGRADE BY PROBOARDS.

YOU CAN NOW CHOOSE TO RECEIVE NOTICES OF MORE THAN JUST PERSONAL MESSAGES, BUT YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE THESE FEATURES.

Even if you activated the personal notification feature before the last upgrades to the board, you may need to re-activate them.

The post below is mine, but it was Carl who walked me through how to do this some time ago.

Another upgrade has led to a revision in those instructions, too-- as well as new options for you.

UPGRADE Notification UPDATE

To begin receiving automated e-mail notification of actions on the board that interest you:

1. Scroll to the discussion board banner at the top of your screen. In the blue line beneath the banner, CLICK ON THE WORD "PROFILE."

2. On your profile page, CLICK ON THE "EDIT PROFILE" tab that appears toward the top right corner of this page.




3. You are now on "edit profile and settings" page that focuses on changing your Avatar.
Look at the words that appear just below the blue line at the top of this page. CLICK ON THE WORD "NOTIFICATIONS."



4. You have arrived at the Forum Notifications Page. Select the actions from the list that will trigger the notifications you want and you're done!
