When that program was dissolved, Bailey was assigned to F Company of the 106th Infantry Division The above site contains a brief written account of his answers to 10 questions at the time of the commemoration. Those answers are also recorded in a brief video interview. This is not the first commemoration celebration in Europe attended by Bailey, who turned 94 in January 2015. He says he plans to attend the 75th also!
