Hello, my father trained with the 106th but joined/fought with the 28th ID as a replacement when he went overseas.
Looking forward to learning about his training days with the 106th. I have his letters that he wrote while in camp and will post various things from the letters. Most of his letters were filled with his undying love for my mother
, but there are some things here and there that might interest this group.
