Attached is a photo from A-2. It is a photo of my father (seated in front). Of interest, note the 2 POWs refenced in the photo.I also found them referenced by name in a document titled, "6951 Provisional Guard Bn, Unit Journal". Attachments:

Date of the photo is estimated to be from April to June, 1945. The camp was opened in April of 1945 and handed over to the French in late June(I think) of the same year. My father was reassigned to the newly formed 69th Amphibian Tractor Battalion at Ettersberg, Germany. This outfit was formed from the 69th Tank Battalion. It was being remained and prepared for a massive invasion of Japan.
