The person who attached information to the above site also added some history from John Klein's site. He is looking for a photo of Shelton.
THE ABOVE SITE NOTES: "Shelton was captured on 21 Dec 1944... imprisoned in the Stalag IVB Muhlberg, Sachsen 52-13 known as Slaughter House #5, receiving the POW ID IVB Nr 316642. He survived the Allies four fire bombing raids on Dresden between 13 and 15 February and the anger of the German citizens when he and other POWs were forced to help recover the bodies of victims. Liberated in April by the Soviet Forces he returned to America on 12 June 1945 and discharged shortly thereafter... Former Private Hubert P. Shelton passed away in 1984.* His military awards include the Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Posthumously POW Medal."
* note: further down on this site Shelton's granddaughter corrected death date to September 1978.
