Anyone have experience with this armored car? Do you know how many were assigned to the 106th or which units had them?
Any other interesting facts or info on it?

Connie, the M8 A/C's were originally issued to the 106th Reconnaissance Troop and to the 18th and 32nd Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadrons. I believe the Tank Destroyer units attached to the Division were also issued them.

Occasionally, after VE-Day, other units such as the 424th added these to their inventory for added mobility.
