Find A Grave Discoveries & 106th Tributes

Adding to his already incredible labors in compiling and updating a 106th Infantry Division Roster on the Indiana Military site, Jim West is now mining information on 106th Infantry Division soldiers from the Find-A Grave site. And he is also leaving a brief tribute from the division at the site of these posts.

Note from Jim West Nov. 27, 2018:

"I just finished going thru Find-A-Grave for the 106th for only last names beginning with "A".

There are 589 entries beginning with the letter "A". I found new formation for 181 of that number.

Mostly headstone photos, but several individual photos, and all with burial dates and locations.

I'm amazed how much info I am finding.

I should be done around 2020."

Next day PS: Those numbers mean about 30% new information in just the "A's"

Effective December 24, 2018 Jim West Reports:

As of today I now have 2,838 records in the 106th Roster[/b] with death dates.

Most have images of the headstones.

And I'm only up to "Crank" alphabetically.
