Fleharty, William L. or P? 592 A POW
Bill Fleharty's name came up in a discussion board post as a buddy of Wayne C. Smith 592 A who was with him through the "whole ordeal" 106thdivision.proboards.com/post/4656/thread

Here's a portion of a note found on p. 15 of that publication (click to enlarge)
It is titled Fleharty, William L.
There is also a William P Fleharty listed in the Roster as being in 592 A.
William L is listed with the POW background (which would fit with the one I'm searching for) but unit name was not listed.

Is this an error? Do the two identities merge? Jim West is careful and meticulous when he adds names to the Roster. His sources here were notes in the Cub. So if there were two different initials listed in different locations he would separate identities until an error was confirmed.
I am leaning toward the belief that these are one and the same person. The L & P sit in close proximity on the keyboard. Perhaps the L. note in the July-August- Sept 1991 Cub was a typo?
Some sorting and Club sleuthing needs to be done! Can anyone add insights or info?
