This is a powerful database of military and and some civilian POWs in WWII. You can search by name, unit, prison, etc. - 25 fields to choose from. I am attaching a report of 423rd Regiments POWs who were executed or shot while escaping, produced by entering the unit code 0423 and Status Code 4. I reduced the number of fields returned to make the report fit here, but the first field on each line says view record. Clicking there will open up all of the info in the database for that person. (Note: The attachment is an image, so it will not work here).
Unit codes are four digits - so you would enter a unit as 0423, 0333, 0422, 0589, etc.
