My father served in the I&R platoon of Regimental HQ company 422nd. I am writing a screenplay and novel about his experiences in the Bulge and as a POW at Stalags IXA and IXB. Anyone who was in the 106th or a one of these Stalags and would like to share their story with me, I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone has information about a family member who served in the 106th or at the Stalag, I would like to speak with them also.
Thanks
Craig Hanna

my father, Paul Eanes of NC (still living) was with the 106th and a POW from 12/44 to 4/45, in camps 7A @ Stuttgart; 9A @ Gorlitz & 11A @ Falling Bosil. He has recently put some of his story on paper which I need to transcript to computer. He is 83 and memories of this time period are very vivid (he suffers from PTS). If you would be interested please contact me at gemcmeg@hotmail.com. I need to take him to the VA hospital for a regular checkup later this week and will pass on your inquiry. gail in nc
Note from Connie November 2010 Sadly, Paul Eanes is no longer living.

Mac lived in West Virginia......I drove around and visited many of his men 40 years ago. But I'm terrible for keeping in touch.

I'm must revise my last statement after reviewing more documents. William Reisman was in 1944 a 1st Lt, later a Captain.
