If you get the chance to go to this event I recommend it. This was my first trip with my son. It is held every year on the last weekend in January. They have a WWII flea market and more importantly, well done recreations and reenactments. Most of the barracks are open and each one depicts different units and what life was like for the typical soldiers (American and German) at the time. A small part of the battle is depicted in one of the wooded areas as well. Numerous restored vehicles are also on display from jeeps to weapons carriers and motorcycles. Parking and the event are free to the public.
