Hi, all,
John Schaffner, the division historian, just pointed out to me something that I had missed on the Indiana Military site. If you go to the 106th Infantry Division section and look down the sidebar, you will see the title "Battlefield Revisits."
Click on this and a series of years will show up. Most are accounts of Schaffner's visits to the area. The first is an account in the Boston Globe by a reporter. I intend to read them now.
