How:
Replying to a message is probably intuitive.
Just hit "reply" at the bottom right below the message you are viewing.
A box for typing your message will appear
Starting a new line of thought, may be less obvious.
The key words are "create thread."
Once you're into a board like the General Board or Looking for Comrades,
look for the words "create thread" in blue at the top right above the list of topics.
Click on the words "create thread" and a place to type your message will appear.
Type your subject and message.
Then scroll down to the options at the bottom right below your message.
Hit "Post" and you're done.
