I have a few photos of men in the 424th 106th SVC that I'll be posting over the next week or two. If anyone can put a name to the face and /or confirm the names I have. I'd love to here from you. Men I believe to have been in the 106th SVC Dad (on left) with Lou Kovach (I think) of the 106th Back of this photo says " Sterling Grieve" Can anyone confirm these?

Here's another article that I thought was interesting. My Dad had a band that's probably why he kep it.

Birthday greetings to Bruce!
I'm using birthdays posted on this board as my cue to revisit posts and make sure I have names mention listed in site soldier index, etc.
This one passes the test. But I'm posting to bring Bruce's inquiries to the top again. Anyone from 424th Service Battery recognize these photos?
I'd also forgotten about the posting here of the article on the Blue Barron joining up with the 424th. Look at the post above for links to some of his recordings under the Music of the Era thread in Good Stuff and lighter moments.

Hi Bruce!
That is absolutely my grandfather you have there - Sterling Grieve. Thank you wholeheartedly for posting this, I will treasure this and share it with my family.
Do you happen to know what your Dad did during the bulge? Do youhave any stories of his experience? What his job was in the Service company? Or any more insight on his experience with the men of the 424th Service Co?
Thanks in advance! I'm thrilled to have found your post!
