Hello, My name is Joe Blauch son of James R Blauch (passed 2005) Co A 423d 106th division BAR (light machine gunner) wounded 12/17, 12/19 captured 12/21. He was like thousands of survivours of the Buldge who would rather not talk about it although I did badger him for information over the years, I got some. I am posting names from his diarie of ex-POWs he was imprisoned with. I have found a few on the national archives POW site but their divisions are not posted. I only know William Millar is from the 84th. My Dad arrived at Stalag XI-B January 5, left January 15. Arrived IIA January 19, then to "Arbeit" work camp March 3. I would guess most of these men were from II A. James R Blauch Lebanon PA, William K Millar Melrose Mass. , William Beale Joplin Missouri, Robert Hooker Roxbury Mass, Francis McElliott Louisville KY, Tom Culley Cleveland Ohio, John Barry Lewisburg WV, Wilbern Lavghlin Houston TX, Ed Groghan Brooklyn NY, Joe Pane Danbury Conn., Richard McRoberts Greene Iowa, Gilbert Pachao San Leandro CA, Richard Bock Colorado Springs Colo., Robert Martin Palo Alto CA., Robert Theyer Tom Water Wash., Joseph Vukman Blairsville PA, Barney A Frost Waterville Maine, Stanley Malecki Cleaveland Ohio, Julian Gorski Chicago Ill, Fred Harrison Portland OR, Robert Ludwig Canton Ohio, Kenneth Loverin Edin Mills Vermont, Coles W Dutcher Bronx NY. Please respond if you know or know of any of these men. Also anything on Co A.

Hi,
Saw you were on site recently. This led me to take another look at your list of names and do some web searching. I'll share some possible leads with you in your personal messages.
