Jim West just posted a list of 424th Infantry Regiment sites and dates found on a hand-written document in some material given to him. I do not know if these are regiment headquarters sites or the site where one company was located. Maybe someone else can enlighten us on this detail. But they should be close to where all in the 424th were located. Here's the link to the Indiana Military Site new listing: www.indianamilitary.org/106ID/UnitInfo/424th/424Route/424Route.htm

Connie:
I recognize the 1st five places; Aquitania, Gourock, Scotland; Adderbury, England; Sputhampton, England; Rouen, France. Then St. Vith, Belgium, Vicinity.
Then on 12,/25/44, Harre, Belgium; 3/16/45 St. Quentin, France and 4/7/45 CampCoetqeichon near Rennes. France. Also, St. Jaques Airport, France 44/13/45 and Heidesheim, Germany 4/23/45.
The Soldier who had this map probably was an Officer because only Officers were at the gym in Spa, Belgium on 1/5/45 to have a bath. Enlisted men did not go there to have a bath.
I believe the Soldier who possessed this list was an Officer who was assigned to the 2nd Battalion of the 424 Regiment. Floyd, 424th Regiment.
P.S. 4/13/45 St/ Jaques Airport, Renne, France I believe is when the 106th was reconstituted. There was a ceremony and parade to recognize the significance of the event on tnat day. I well remember that event; this soldier was in the parade.
