The person posting is requesting information on the bombings in the Limburg area many POW's in the infantry regiment experienced as they were being carried in box cars to POW camps.

Any information you may have on these bombings could be helpful.

Ammunition Dump

In the days leading up to the Battle of the Bulge, the 590th (and maybe the other field artillery battalions of the 106th Infantry Division)
was drawing ammunition from a dump near Liege.
