My father-in-law Wassil Pogar, now deceased, served with the 422/C at The Bulge. Does anyone remember him or have information to share with me. I would greatly appreciate it.
Sincere thanks, Ron

When posting your father-in-law's name and unit (with a link to this thread) on the Site Soldier index, I noted two aging posts related to 422 C. They can be found at: 106thdivision.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=looking&action=display&thread=178One of these posts is from an offspring. The other is by a member of this unit. It's still a bit of a shot in the dark that either of these people might have info directly related to your father. But it might be worth a try. It has been 4 years since the veteran posted his search for his squad leader. Obviously a lot can change in 4 years. But if he were available and able to answer questions this could prove helpful. I see that his e-mail address at the time was y. But if you're interested I could look into some round about ways of trying to make contact. Let me know if you'd like to try. The other offspring of 422 C who is on this site appears to have a listed e-mail address (if it is still current). John Kline also maintains the roster of Division Association Members by unit. If you're interested I can give you his contact info. Welcome to the discussion board and good luck on your search! Connie
