My grandfather served in the 106th DIV 423rd REG E Co
Currently I'm also serving which makes whatever I find more important considering that his family told me that he seems to like to spend time with me more than most of his own children. Just an FYI I'm really looking for locations as I might try to take a trip and see where he was when he fought.

Welcome. That is fantastic that your current service has led to a unique relationship with your grandfather. The trip I took to the Ardennes in 2008 was unforgettable. All of my battle research leading up to the trip was also worth every minute I spent on it. I hope you get to make your trip.
