There are several features to this board that are easy but not obvious. This is one of them.
Besides the public replies on the message board, there is the option of sending a simple message to be viewed by only the intended recipient.
If someone has sent you a message, you'll see it noted at the top of the main page in the box with the date and time. "Hey, _____(your name) you have....
The number of new messages you have will be indicated next in blue words.
To find these messages, just drag your curser arrow up to the blue words that tell the number of messages and click on them.
A list of messages giving subjects and sender will appear. Click on the subject and the message will open.
