Full middle name came from Indiana Military site Roster Combat Infantry Badge List as source. That site had 424 K listing with some question indicated. Ax- POW site lists 424 A. Roster has rank as Pfc.
The POW site lists capture date as December 30, 1944 and Liberation as 3-30-45. Site includes a recent photo. He was 19 when taken captive..
