Photos in Roster:Jim West is now attaching to the names in the Roster a thumbnail photo (when available) of each. www.indianamilitary.org/106ID/Rosters/RosterZOHO.htm
Jim notes: To submit a photo, simply scan and email to me. We prefer individuals in uniform, but anything is acceptable. Group photos cannot be used in the Roster, but I can usually cut out the individual and use that. Photos are reduced to 1.5" and 72 dpi.
To Contact Jim West, keeper of the Indiana Military site with photo for roster, etc: jimdwest@centurylink.net or simply send him a personal message through this discussion board: 106thdivision.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=pmsend&to=admin
FYI here's a note sent by Jim West this AM on this subject.

"The 106th Roster now has 16,539 entries with 289 of those having photos.
To see just those with photos, click on SEARCH and under PHOTOS, click and drop down IS NOT EMPTY.

I must admit that the website has become nearly overwhelming, what with recent activity with the 30th Division information, and recent Camp Atterbury changes. The 30th Division history is added to almost daily as they have the Camp Blanding Museum and a true expert historian feeding me information. Freeman AAF is currently involved in digging up buried German war planes and parts, and it all keeps me very busy. And being married, there are many of those "Honey Do" assignments.
I apologize if I have failed to respond to anyone. If you find any mistakes or see some way to make the 106th site and Roster better, please let me know.
I was also told yesterday at Lowe's Lumber, when I stopped a man in uniform to say "Thanks for serving", that the 106th Division and our website is a part of the training regime at the Camp Atterbury Officers Training Academy.
In case you do not know, Lowe's Lumber gives a 10% discount, even on sale prices to any Veteran. You just need some sort of proof. I use my VA Hospital card.
You are not forgotten."
