Conversations with grandson of Maj. Matthew R.J. Giuffre G-2 (Intelligence) for Division Headquarters gradually revealed that there were two men in the division with this same first and last name but different ranks and assignments and a slight variation on middle initials-- R.J. vs. J. There is some more identity separation to be done! Did you know the intelligence officer?
